Resident Evil 0 Remake Announced for Wii

A remake of the Gamecube classic Resident Evil 0  has been confirmed for the Wii. The game will feature controls like the ones found in Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, and has been given a tentative release date of Summer 2008 in Japan.

I’m not really sure how this will work. It seems to me like the game’s pacing will have to be altered significantly to allow for RE4-type controls, as well as the elimination of the fixed camera angles. I also am beginning to think that Capcom is running this franchise into the ground. This will be the third Resident Evil game released in a year, and the second remake. Come on Capcom, we know you must have SOME new franchises stashed away in there somewhere…

  1. I see your point RE. Some new franchises would be great, but I’d like to see all RE games redone with RE4 controls on the Wii.
