Over at the ever investigative gaming forum, NeoGAF, member points out a spot of laziness in the way of the cover art designer for the Wii game Okami from Capcom.

For those not familiar with the logo, it is videogaming site IGN’s watermark. From NeoGAF member Xisiqomelir comes photographic proof that this artwork with the logo is on retail copies of the game:

According to another member, Epicus.Furor, the artwork originated from this image found on IGN.com:

No word from Capcom about the issue has been issued as of yet.
I wonder if someone will get fired over this since leaving another companies logo without their permission is sort of frowned upon, even if it is free advertising for IGN.
That IGN logo is really hard to see, perhaps we should highlight it.
Yeah, I didn’t even see what this was about when somebody posted the pic on another board. It took me reading about it here to know what to look for to be able to see it.
Yeah, after hearing about it, I remembered that I just bought it. I quickly grabbed the case and found it. And lol’d.
