Nyko To Release New Wii Controller

Nyko has announced they will release a new controller for the Wii.  The Wing will be wireless and works by using an adapter on a Wii Remote to send signals to.  This system removes the need for the cords that the Classic Controller currently uses.

The company announced the controller has a 10 ft range and 30 hours of usage while being powered by 2 AAA batteries.  Currently the plans to release the Wing are set for sometime in October with a pricetag of $29.99.

Other product photos can be seen here and here.

With October being a bit off in the distance, Nyko has released a papercraft model of the controller.

It takes a few hours to put together properly and although my model isn’t the best looking, with good paper it’s a decent representation of the Wing.

The papercraft is available here and is one sheet with instructions on a seperate page.

If you decide to embark on this papercraft, please share your creation by e-mail or the forum!
