Boing! Docomodake Coming Stateside

Ignition Entertainment and AQ Interactive today announced Boing! Docomodake will be heading to the US in 2009.  The story is set during the day of the annual festival in the Docomodake Forest.  Papa Docomodake is on a mission to find his missing family members.  Players will be able to guide Papa with the stylus through tough situations and tap him to release Minis to aid in his journey.

Already the game has been released in Japan and is set to go on sale in the UK on October 24th.

Boing! Docomodake will be available at retail for $19.99 sometime in March 2009.

I’ve never heard of this title, but the gameplay videos on the Japanese site look amusing.  It seems the DS is starting to grow a bit of fungus in its library.

I think it looks like a fun game, maybe it would be cause for me to dust off my DS… my poor lonely DS, I should play you more often.
