Today was another fairly ho-hum today. I’m getting used to the routine of checking turnip prices, harvesting fruit, making a quick run around town looking for anything new or suspicious. It’s still entertaining, but it’s feeling more and more like the same old same old everyday.
There really aren’t enough special events every month to participate in. In December, for example, there are three events, one of which is a bug catching contest. And for this game, that’s really fairly busy. Sure, K.K. comes every Saturday, and Joan every Sunday, but frankly it’s just not enough. Your neighbors seem to repeat themselves more often than in previous games. There are more bugs and fish than there used to be, and I do enjoy gathering new furniture. But there’s only so much money that can be made in a day, and, just like in real life, a lot of the best things to do require dough.
I know this entry has been mostly complaining, and I do apologize. As I said earlier, I still do look forward to playing each day. Today I made a flag featuring Marin from Link’s Awakening, and a shirt modeled after Spike’s from Cowboy Bebop. Dr. Shrunk also taught me some new emotions, including anger, which I can display when someone shows up in my town and starts digging up my fossils.
Goodnight!
But can Dr. Shrunk teach you how to love?
