Wiikly Update: 3/2/09

WiiWare: Family & Friends Party, 1,000 Wii Points

This title pegs itself as an "interactive board game" for up to eight players, and will have two teams competing against each other. Each team will take turns trying to complete one of six "Single" challenges, which will be played by either one or two players in the team; alternatively, the game may make the teams face off in a Versus challenge. The first team to complete all the challenges (of which no examples were given besides a math challenge) is the winner.

SNES: Ogre Battle: the March of the Black Queen, 800 Wii Points

The Zetegenian Empire has ruled Zenobia for 25 years; as the leaders of a group of rebels, you are sick and tired of this, and you need to take your army and rid the kingdom of these invaders. You’ll control an army consisting of hundreds of characters, and you’ll use "magical items, weapons, and mystical Tarot cards" as you try to defeat the enemy in this strategy game.

I have a friend who raves about how awesome Ogre Battle is; I guess now is a good opportunity to try it out.
