Apologies for the delay in announcing a winner for the latest contest. A winner has been picked at random however by using Random.org and hitting the button as many times as there were entries. The winner is Feross H. and he wanted me to share his story with you all. It has not been edited and is exactly how it was sent to me except a few breaks so it’s not one giant wall of text:
Yayyyyyyyy!!! I thought I wasn’t gonna win LOL. I’m a plat. Member on club nintendo and I got invited to the event in city walk at universal studios hollywood. I’m 17 and I told my mom about it 2 weeks ago and she said I could go but I had to spend the night at my cousins house because I had to take him as a guest.
When I went to RSVP, it was too late!! So I got sad LOL cuz I wanted to sample dsi. So my highschool gets a week off for spring break which I wish was for 2 wks. So on Thursday the 26 of my one week vacation I got an email from nintendo saying there was space at the event and my mom said to rsvp quick LOL so I did and I printed out my RSVP email and was happy!!!:))) so I look at the paper and they say events at 7:00 P.M!! And on a Sunday!!! How worse can this get!! I have school the next day and I have no chance to go at all.
So I didnt end up going but I got over it because I care about my education more than an event. If I went to the event and came back home all tired then waking up Monday being grumpy from deprived sleep LOL, my day at school would be a rough and unfocused day. I just wish they could have it on a friday or Saturday, then Id go!
