When I first opened up my new DSi last Friday, I was excited about the new system. I had been keeping myself in the dark as much as possible about the features the system had so it’d be a completely new experience when I went to open it up. Indeed it was to me and you might be able to tell on the video I released of the live unboxing event.
I’ll be having a full review up within the next few days. I’m taking my time with it because I’m waiting for that "honeymoon" period to be over. Will I be as impressed with the system after nearly a week of constant usage? So far, I can say yes, but then again I can’t tell whether it’s just the happiness of having something new and shiny yet or whether or not this system is worth its salt. Personal experience with Nintendo products has shown though that my pleased factor will still be there.
I will say I took the DSi out for a trip on Sunday to a park. That adventure will briefly be included into my review since I want to incorporate general usage along with the gaming side, so keep an eye out for that.
