DSiWare: Castle Of Magic, 500 Nintendo Points

Your friend has been captured by the magician Nestefax, and you must traverse through a mind-bending platforming universe to get him back. You’ll swim, stick, levitate, and walk on the ceiling throughout your adventure. On some occasions where you want to turn into something else, you’ll have to use the Nintendo DSi Camera to take a picture of something with the same color, or else it’s a no go.

DSiWare: myNotebook: Blue, 200 Nintendo Points

Developer Nnooo, responsible for Pop, now brings us a simple notebook application. Whip out your DSi anytime you want to take notes on something. Draw on the cover and change the paper if you like.

DSiWare: Electroplankton Luminarrow, 200 Nintendo Points

One of five musical Electroplankton titles this week. "Luminarrow plankton are famous for their habit of perfectly following arrow-shaped formations. The plankton spin as they move, changing directions as soon as they come in contact with an arrow that’s pointing in another direction. Each type floats at a different speed and makes a distinctive musical tone. The four types of Luminarrow drift together to create beautiful melodies."

DSiWare: Electroplankton Sun-Animalcule, 200 Nintendo Points

One of five musical Electroplankton titles this week."Sun-Animalcule plankton get their name from their tendency to emit light in a sphere around them. The plankton begin as eggs and gradually grow, emitting light and fascinating sounds throughout their entire life cycle. Sun-Animalcule plankton only emerge in the morning, noon and evening. They lose strength as the night wears on; that’s when the crescent-shaped Falcato plankton take their place."

DSiWare: Electroplankton Lumiloop, 200 Nintendo Points

One of five musical Electroplankton titles this week. "While stationary, they have the ability to spin at a very high rate of speed. As they spin, the Lumiloop emit unique sounds and a fascinating ring-shaped glow. They produce sounds at different pitches as they spin together, creating a beautiful harmony. Depending on where they live, Lumiloop plankton that produce several different sounds have been identified."

DSiWare: Electroplankton Marine-Crystals, 200 Nintendo Points

One of five musical Electroplankton titles this week. "Resembling delicate snow crystals, Marine-Crystal plankton float elegantly on the surface of the water. When stimulated, Marine-Crystal plankton spin and produce vibrant sounds. While the plankton do grow in size if they are repeatedly tapped, they gradually return to their original size over time. They are born in four polygonal shapes: triangle, square, pentagon and hexagon. The tone of the sound they make will change depending on the shape of the Marine-Crystal plankton’s body."

DSiWare: Electroplankton Varvoice, 200 Nintendo Points

One of five musical Electroplankton titles this week. "Varvoice plankton memorize the sound of human speech and repeat it over and over. By resonating the vibration with their water-droplet-shaped body, the plankton produce sounds that closely resemble the human voice. By changing shape, they can easily manipulate the sound of the voice. Words that the Varvoice memorize and play back in reverse have a particularly strange ring to them."

WiiWare: Bit.Trip Void, 600 Nintendo Points

This game boasts a gamer-friendly control scheme, letting you and four friends explore the synesthetic experience that explores "color – and the absence of color". What it doesn’t explain is how the game is actually played.

WiiWare: Harvest Moon: My Little Shop, 1,200 Nintendo Points

You’ve inherited your grandparents’ shop, and you want to help it succeed, as well as the surrounding town. Along with elements of classic Harvest Moon gameplay come a series of motion-based mini-games that show you what it’s like running a store.

WiiWare: Little Tournament Over Yonder, 800 Nintendo Points

This game is a strategy title with a miniature look to it. As a young prince or princess, you’ll build up your army, obtaining new units with different powers, and work your way up the tournament by battling other teams.

WiiWare: Leaning With The PooYoos: Episode 1, 500 Nintendo Points

This educational title is aimed at children who cannot yet read, helping them learn numbers, letters, shapes and more. The game can be played at two different levels depending on the age and ability of the youngster.

SNES: Super Mario Kart, 800 Nintendo Points

The granddaddy of all kart racing games has arrived. Almost all gamers know how it goes: race on sixteen different courses, collecting items to try and stop your opponents from taking first place ahead of you. Play with one or two players in racing or Battle mode.

NES: A Boy And His Blob: Trouble On Blobolonia, 500 Nintendo Points

You and your blob, from Blobolonia, need to explore the planet and obtain hidden treasures so that you can defeat the evil Blobolonian emperor. Feed your blob flavored jellybeans to make him transform into useful items.

Even taking away all of the Electroplankton, that’s quite a haul for this week, especially considering the arrivals of Super Mario Kart and A Boy And His Blob.
