Nintendo has been playing a furious game of catch-up with Sony and Microsoft, and lately it has been apparent that they are trying their hardest and moving faster. 2 days ago was no exception, as a new video-streaming service titled "Theater No Ma" was released for the Japan-exclusive Wii Channel "Wii No Ma".

The service will allow users to play TV shows and Movies with the click of a button. There is a wide variety of TV shows/Movies on the service, ranging from episodes of Kirby to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. There are no confirmed prices for a TV Show or Movie as of now, but you can put your downloaded movies on a DSi for portable entertainment.

Currently Theater No Ma has only been released in Japan (11/21/09), with only hopes of a release outside of Japan. Knowing Nintendo, they will probably see if the service works in Japan and delivers profit before releasing it to the rest of the world.
