The sales results for the new game New Super Mario Bros. Wii clearly live up to the hype that surrounded the game, as Nintendo’s latest first party title sold 936,734 units in 4 days. These sales surpassed the previous fastest-selling Wii game in Japan (Super Smash Bros. Brawl), and gave the title to New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
I can only say congratulations to Nintendo, and that I thought this game was absolutely brilliant. I am hoping that these sales can only guarantee that we will receive a game this well done in the near future.
