Nintendo Download: 1/4/10

DSiWare: Trajectile, 500 Nintendo Points

This interesting title seems to be a cross between Breakout and Big Bang Mini. Given a limited set of missiles, you must carefully launch them upward so that they bounce off (or smash through) the blocks above and destroy the enemies. Collect powerups for more destruction as you make your way through several difficulty levels.

DSiWare: Animal Puzzle Adventure, 500 Nintendo Points

This title requires you to return animals to the correct barn, avoiding pitfalls and utilizing obstacles with specific qualities. For every stage you clear, you unlock a piece of a wallpaper, which you can view in the gallery once it’s complete. There are fifty stages in all.

DSiWare: Hell’s Kitchen Vs., 800 Nintendo Points

You and another player are competing for the favor of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. You’ll compete head-to-head in time management challenges, with Ramsay insulting you along the way.

WiiWare: Heron: Steam Machine, 500 Nintendo Points

Your big machine here is producing rubber duckies, and you’ll have to connect pipes properly in order to relieve pressure and keep the machine running as long as you can. The game also has co-op play with up to four players, each one working on a different corner of the screen, so you’ll have to coordinate carefully.

WiiWare: Pub Darts, 500 Nintendo Points

This game gives you pretty much what you expect: pub darts. Throwing a dart is done with the Wii Remote, though you probably should keep hold of the remote instead of letting go. Up to four people can play with a large number of rulesets, and you can even create your own profile, with an avatar and a design for when your dart is flying.

WiiWare: Fast Draw Showdown, 500 Nintendo Points

This game is also pretty much what it looks like. You’ll compete in a number of quick draw contests with some sharpshooting cowboys in the Old West.  Up to two players can compete.

SNES: Final Fight 3, 800 Nintendo Points

Mike and Guy are joined by new friends Dean and Lucia, in order to take on a new gang called Skull Cross that is wreaking havoc across Metro City. Make your way through six stages with some new controls, including dash attacks and Street Fighter-esque special moves.

While I am a fan of Hell’s Kitchen, I’m not sure how well received the games were. Maybe I should try this out and find out for myself.
