Back in the day there was this fun arcade-style basketball game called NBA Jam by Midway in which you played two-on-two matches. Now, according to ESPN, sources have said that EA Sports is going to be bringing the series exclusively on the Wii.
If these sources are correct then that’s awesome, because they also claim that Mark Turmell, the creator of the original game, will be coming back on to take on the project along with others. Will we once again being hearing "He’s on fire!" from the classic announcer again? Another interesting thing to ponder on is whether they would bring back the secret characters, usually consisting of political figures and celebrities. According to ESPN, EA should officially announce the game later this month.
This is pretty awesome news to me since I loved playing this on my SNES when I was young. I’m hoping that they keep the 2D style to keep with the simple arcade gameplay that fans know and love.
