For those of you who are big into the fighting genre, you’ll be getting a new arcade-style controller for the Wii. Mad Catz will be releasing the Tatsunoko vs. Capcom Arcade FightStick alongside the fighting game itself. The controller features what you would expect for an arcade fighter controller, from the arcade stick to the 8 button layout, as well as well as turbo features. As can be seen in the picture above, the controller also boasts some very nice art from the game.

The FightStick will be compatible with other fighting games on the Wii and also Virtual Console games, which could mean you could play classic fighters such as Street Fighter II with this. You can pre-order the FightStick here for $79.99.

Mad Catz has been somewhat hit or miss from my experience, but for $80 I would think it should be a quality item. I’m very interested in the game, but I don’t see myself dropping that much money for a controller anytime soon.
