In addition to the normal downloadable games this week,Style Savvy owners will find that they can now download a new set of fashions from the Deréon clothing line, co-created by Beyoncé and Tina Knowles. Beyoncé will also be starring in a new set of Style Savvy commercials starting later this month.
DSiWare: Let’s Golf, 800 Nintendo Points
This golf game boasts simple controls, using the DSi stylus and even the microphone for adding spin to your ball. Choose from one of four characters and play on up to 45 holes across three golf courses. The game also offers Hot Seat Multiplayer that will have you passing the DSi around.
DSiWare: Globulos Party, 500 Nintendo Points
This title purports itself to be a collection of 20 simple mini-games such as 4-Square, Darts, Soccer and Sumo. Play by yourself or with friends in one of three multiplayer modes.
DSiWare: VT Tennis, 500 Nintendo Points
This game also boasts stylus-based controls to help you do lobs, drop shots and more. Game modes include Quickmatch, Tennis School and World Championship. As you battle to achieve the #1 ranking, you’ll unlock up to seventeen courts, each with a different-playing surface that will make you adjust your game.
DSiWare: Flips: Terror in Cubicle Four, 500 Nintendo Points
The toilet in cubicle four is acting rather strange; specifically, it tried to eat a kid once. James, Alexander and Lenny must now solve the mystery of the toilet in this… actually, we’re not at all sure what this is. Is it a game? A book? It’s entirely unclear.
WiiWare: Mega Man 10, 1,000 Nintendo Points
The blue bomber returns to his 8-bit roots once again. In this newest iteration, you can play on Easy Mode, try out Time Attack mode, play as Proto Man, and watch expert replays from around the world.
WiiWare: Dart Rage, 600 Nintendo Points
This darts game claims to have the most realistic throwing system yet, with “pixel-perfect accuracy”. Play by yourself or with friends with one of four rule sets – 301-901, Cricket, Poker and American.
WiiWare: Happy Hammerin’, 500 Nintendo Points
The fun of Whack-A-Mole is now on your Wii console. Take your frustration out on small rodents in Mole Adventure, Mole Marathon or Party Battle, with up to four players hammering away. Log your scores online and see how you stack up.
Neo Geo: Fatal Fury Special, 900 Nintendo Points
This 1993 Fatal Fury title features a whopping 15 fighters, building off the engine of the previous titles. Features include two-line battles, finishing moves and special attacks, and if you fulfill certain conditions, you may get a visit from Ryuu Sakazaki.
I’ll be picking up Mega Man 10 as soon as I am able, I think. Otherwise, I’m intrigued by the idea of a DSiWare text adventure.
