The Speed Gamers are at it again, holding their third Mother Marathon for charity! You’ll have to tune into their website and find out if The Speed Gamers can beat Mother 1, 2 and 3 in 48 hours while trying to raise $10,000 dollars for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The marathon has been under way for over five hours already and they’ve raised over two-thousand dollars.
The Speed Gamers have been streaming video game marathons for over a year to raise money for various charities. In that time they have raised over $130,000 from over sixteen marathons.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a foundation set-up in 1982 by Nancy G. Brinker. Since their formation they’ve raised over 1.5 billion dollars towards the research of breast cancer. You can click here for more information.
