Nintendo of America company president Reggie Fils-Aime has been busy as of late and has made an appearance on a late night talk show to show off a few things.

Reggie Fils-Aime appeared on late night and was climbed by enthusiast of gaming and host of “Late Night,” Jimmy Fallon. In his appearance, Fils-Aime attempted to show gameplay from the upcoming Donkey Kong Country Returns game while playing along with Fallon. After the brief play through, Fils-Aime pulled out a Nintendo 3DS for Fallon to ogle over. When asked about when to expect the 3DS, Fils-Aime stated, “It’s coming out next year.” It wasn’t clear whether or not that statement was to pander to the audience or if Fils-Aime was distracted while playing Donkey Kong and let the fact slip, due to the fact Nintendo’s stance previous to this was only that it would be out before March 2011.
