The epitome of rock music: Nickelback and Miley Cyrus.
Last week, Harmonix offered something a bit different in the Rock Band 2 Music Store – a five-pack of tunes from teen idol Miley Cyrus, celebrating the release of her new album Can’t Be Tamed. The title track from the new album is available, as well as three tunes from Breakout and one from her Hannah Montana days. All tracks cost 200 Nintendo Points and are downloaded in-game.

This week, they presented another Rock Band debut, with six tunes from highly popular rock group Nickelback. Two tunes from their newest album, Dark Horse, join up with four others from their past catalogue, including the popular “Rockstar”.

While I’m not particularly up in arms over Miley Cyrus like some people, I wonder how many people were clamoring to see her music in Rock Band.
