After quite some time of waiting, No More Heroes 2 was given a Japanese release date, and to make up for it Suda 51 has a nice bundle ready for the Japanese as well.
Our friends over in Japan have finally gotten a confirmation for the release date of Suda 51′s latest game, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. The date given is October 21st, 2010, which is 9 months behind the US release date. In an attempt to settle the Japanese delay, they are releasing a special edition for the game, which will include a soundtrack, a summary of the first game on DVD, and “No More Heroes 1.5″ (it’s a movie). The price for the regular edition is 140 JP¥ (81 USD), with the special edition (dubbed the “Hopper’s Edition”) costing you 8,980 JP¥ (102 USD). It’s good to see that they are giving Japan the royal treatment (or not, because of the 9-month delay), just makes me wonder if any of these special edition items will be available elsewhere?
So what do you think about the special edition? Does anything in it look appealing to you? I haven’t played the original game (nor the sequel), but I’ve heard good things about it.
