Vivid visuals bring the world of Sonic to life in the latest trailer, released today by SEGA, along with a November release date.
SEGA recently released a new trailer for their latest game, Sonic Colors. Along with the trailer came a release date of November 12th, 2010. The trailer shows some gameplay, and reveals some of Sonic’s new powers, which includes the drill and the color laser. However, the trailer has been proven to have some nice visuals, with the usual characters sticking alongside Sonic on his adventures. SEGA has higher hopes for this game, with Takashi Iizuka saying that “For this title in particular, the team is confident that this is a game everybody can really enjoy. That’s why we’ve offered a lot of hands-on for E3, and on this occasion as well. It’s something that the team is really confident from the gameplay side. It’s something that, this time, the team thinks they’ve nailed it – it’s definitely not going through the Sonic cycle!”
The trailer can be viewed here.
Any Sonic game is welcome in my book, but the 3D ones can seem sketchy. By the gameplay shown so far I don’t know if I’ll be getting it, but only time will tell.
Sonic coulors is actually looking pretty good. Lately Sonic games have sucked but I have high hopes for this one. Nice post Jake Bellissimo!
