For those of you who have been anticipating Majesco’s latest title Monster Tale, it appears you’ll have to wait even longer.
According to retailers, the new title from Majesco (entitled Monster Tale) has had it’s release date pushed back. The puzzling-adventure title was originally supposed to come out in December of this year, but retailer sites now list the game as having a release date of March 15th, 2011. There’s no entirely clear reason as to why the game has been delayed for now, but you can assume that it might have something to do with the rush during the holiday season. If you look at it from a business point of view, you’d want your game to stand out among the others, right? And with the holidays being the time to get games out there, most shoppers may tend to go for the hyped games, while others are left behind. Spring seems a more reasonable release date because it gives them more of an opportunity to stand out, because there won’t be (at least at this moment) as many anticipated games being released, which also gives them an opportunity to put their game on the hype train.
I’m pretty interested in this game, and I like it when developers fuse genres to create a better game. Hopefully the game is good, and if the release date is true then I’ll be looking forward to it in March.
