GH:WOR DLC Update: 9/28/10

A refreshing return to DLC brings a whole album from grunge rockers Soundgarden and more!

If you have been following these updates, you’ve probably already noticed the subtle change in name from GH5 to simply GH:WOR. Why is this, you ask? Well, it’s due to the fact that the new Guitar Hero game Warriors Of Rock has been released, and unfortunately DLC will no longer be backwards compatible for GH5. However, the Metallica transfer this week still applies to GH5. Anyways, we’ve got a lot of tracks available to download/import into GH5 this week. Soundgarden’s latest compilation album released today, and with it an appearance on Guitar Hero. Soundgarden have appeared on rhythm games before such as Rock Band 1 & 2 with the songs “Jesus Christ Pose” (DLC), “Black Hole Sun” (RB1), and “Spoonman” (RB2).

As usual, each track costs 200 Wii Points, with the entire “Soundgarden Telephantasm: A Retrospective Album Track Pack” costing you 1800 Wii Points.

The songs available in the “Soundgarden Telephantasm: A Retrospective Album Track Pack” are:

  • “Hunted Down”
  • “Hands All Over”
  • “Outshined”
  • “Rusty Cage”
  • “Birth Ritual”
  • “Black Hole Sun”
  • “Spoonman”
  • “My Wave”
