Yep, this is all we’re getting. Most of the hardware numbers had to come from other sources, too; NPD only gave us the Xbox 360 numbers, and said that everything else was down from last year. Additionally, the SKUs were no longer separated on the software side, so the numbers represent how well the game did if you combine all the systems the game was sold on.
Once you combine SKUs, it looks like several key Nintendo titles no longer make the list; however, September was a month of a lot of big releases, so it’s hard to say if Super Mario Galaxy 2 would have charted anyway, with so many games it had to compete against. Metroid: Other M‘s #9 position is fairly impressive, beating out Modern Warfare 2 across all systems, though it didn’t manage to outsell the PSP-exclusive Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
