Nintendo Download: 11/22/10

Four WiiWare demos join up with one powerhouse franchise and several other titles.

The demos that Nintendo is offering this week are for the titles And Yet It Moves, Bit.Trip Fate, Jett Rocket and ThruSpace.

DSiWare: Tetris Party Live, 500 Nintendo Points

This downloadable Tetris title contains the original Marathon mode, along with standard multiplayer against computers or friends, and Duel Space mode, where you try to claim as much space as you can. You can also take the game online and play with up to four other players.

DSiWare: Supermarket Mania, 500 Nintendo Points

This time management game has you playing as Nikki, trying to keep her five supermarket stores in order. As you play through Story Mode’s 50 levels, selling over a dozen items and dealing with seven kinds of customers, you’ll get money so you can upgrade your various supermarkets. You can also try Endless Shift.

DSiWare: Music On: Electric Guitar, 200 Nintendo Points

Play your favorite songs with this electric guitar title. Play your favorite songs, utilizing over 950 chords and one of three pedal effects. You can save up to ten sessions.

WiiWare: Snowpack Park, 800 Nintendo Points

A recent storm has sent penguins fleeing to all corners of Snowpack Park, and it’s up to you to brave the obstacles of the park and get them back. Once they’ve returned, though, you’ll have to feed them and play with them in order to keep them happy enough to stay. Collect various mini-games and headwear for the penguins as you explore.

Neo Geo: Spin Master, 900 Nintendo Points

You are Johnny, on a quest to save your girlfriemd Mary from Dr. De Playne, and also recover the ancient treasure map he is trying to steal. Journey through five unique stages and defeat the boss at the end of each one. Jump and fight your way through each level, utilizing special attacks to really clean up. Collect all the pieces of the treasure map for the game’s big surprise!

More Tetris is always acceptable, especially when it contains online and costs $5. Additionally, I’m glad to see that games like Jett Rocket are getting demos too, as I think they deserve some good attention.
