The latest title in the Bit.Trip franchise has been given more details, including a release date of early 2011.
Recently, during one of Destructoid’s gaming marathons, Czar Chris Osborn (a programmer at Gaijin Games) decided to pop in and announce the release of the upcoming Bit.Trip FLUX for early 2011, or at least “probably 2011″. Also, more details about the game were going to be revealed. Apparently Gaijin Games “originally planned the Bit.Trip series to be eight games long, but have since trimmed it to six.”, and that the new title will not feature the Wii Zapper compatibility. Chris also mentioned that Bit.Trip FLUX is “already a lot better than it was when I played it about a month ago”, which can only make me more interested.
As of now, the game is completed, but due to unknown reasons won’t see a release until “probably” early 2011.
This series can only get better as it goes along, and I’m excited to see how FLUX turns out…but what do you guys think? Feel free to comment in the comments section below.
