Spike TV’s Video Game Awards Host is Decided

Who did Spike TV decide after last year’s lack of a host?

Spike TV recently revealed that the host for the 2010 Video Game Awards would be the charming and cunning Neil Patrick Harris. Neil Patrick Harris is known as Doogie Howser M.D., for which the show bears the same name, and as Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother.

Neil Patrick Harris is no stranger to the hosting gig either. He’s hosted both the 63rd Tony Awards and the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards in 2009 and made a special appearance in the 2010, 82nd Academy Awards, where he sang and danced his entrance in.

I am very happy to see this decision. Last year’s was a mess without a definitive host and the Jersey Shore making an appearance was frustrating, to say the least. I hope NPH does a musical number again!
