Digital Works Entertainment’s newest release has you chasing after Death itself.
Digital Works Entertainment has turned away from their mobile gaming platform and are in development of a new game for the 3DS. The game is titled Shinigami Oni and it is set in a complex metropolis. The protagonist is in search of a Shinigami (God of Death) will often either confront it or accept it. No other details about the actual gameplay has been released other than it will be a “horror adventure title”
It’s kind of surprising to see a 3rd party game for the 3DS already when usually we only see Nintendo exclusives on newly released consoles. Also, I immediately recognized the word “Shinigami” from reading the Death Note mangas, so this was already an interesting article.
