Nintendo released today that the 3-D effect may not be good for kids.
With the Nintendo World event next month, the world is buzzing with news of the new Nintendo 3DS. Amidst all of this, Nintendo released on their website of potential risks when using the 3DS. Of these risks, one of which states that the vision of children under the age of 6 are in the developmental stage and the 3D effect could impact their growth.
They go on to state that parents can limit children’s 3D viewing in the parental controls. Parents control this by having a PIN they put in, in order to access the 3D feature. Nintendo also advised to small breaks after extended play in order to allow for visual rest.

This is probably one of the more extensive warning lists I’ve seen. Normally it’s just a paragraph, but this one is much longer. I wonder if hardcore gamers will feel the eye strain they talk about, because I can still play for hours and not be sore.
