Retailer Toys “R” Us has already begun selling Nintendo 3DS accessories. Upon visiting a local store, I was able to find two products for purchase. The first is a starter case which comes with stylus, a case, car charger, and headphones which retails for $29.99 as you can see in the photo below.
Looking around at the shelf longer, I was able to spot a case only made of flexible material which was priced at $11.99. I was able to take the case to the register and purchase it without issue. Both cases are licensed Nintendo products from Power A.
The Nintendo 3DS officially launches on March 27th.
I was shocked that you could purchase them this early, mostly because when the DS launched, a few days prior no one would sell me anything to do with it. Look for a quick peek at the case I picked up soon!

I was at Gamestop today and saw the same $30 kit. they also had a $10 kit I actually bought. It has 3 styluses, tri-fold game case, 2 single game cases, cleaning cloth, & 2 screen protectors. Its also a official Nintendo product.
that ugly case you pictured above is the one that Walmart is offering for free for people that preorder their 3DS with them. But I already have a cheese grater so I dont need that one.
That’s interesting that GameStop is selling them already. My GameStop didn’t have any 3DS accessories out and about. Then again they were also the ones who wouldn’t sell me anything DS related before that launch as well.
I’ll agree that this gray case is quite ugly.
