This week’s free WiiWare demo is for Dive: the Medes Island Secret.
DSiWare: G.G Series D-Tank, 200 Nintendo Points
This tank game has you giving your (numerous) lives to accomplish your goal. Either fend off waves of enemies to preserve your base, or work to capture an enemy installation before time runs out. You’ll have to use special ammo and bombs to accomplish your goals.
DSiWare: Shapo, 500 Nintendo Points
This puzzle game will have you carefully playing pieces onto a playing field while keeping the scales balanced. You can either remove full lines in Classic Mode, or play Puzzle Mode and try to fill a grid. Items like material bombs and line bombs will help you get through the game’s 150 levels.
WiiWare: Arcade Essentials, 500 Nintendo Points
This $5 package contains five classic arcade games, remastered with a new presentation. The games come with things like leaderboards and unlockable levels. Unfortunately, the press release doesn’t make it clear what the games are.
SNES: Natsume Championship Wrestling, 800 Nintendo Points
Play as one of twelve wrestlers, like Viper, Phantom or Asteroid in this older wrestling title. Master the game’s grappling system and its 50+ moves to become the champion. You can play with up to four players.
I wish they would tell us what’s in the Arcade Essentials pack. That seems like rather critical information. Besides that, the G.G. Series has always interested me; cheap, quick games that might just be worth $2 a pop.
