NintendoGal’s Mother Tries Nintendo 3DS

Watch as my mother, who doesn’t understand most technology, tries out the newest handheld.

My mother who was born and raised in Thailand was brought over to the US by my father in the 1970s. From that point on, she had to make a life for herself in a strange foreign country. Although she’s adapted quite well to her environment, she’s never been one for understand gizmos and gadgets. In fact, the last gaming system she played previous to the Wii was the Nintendo Entertainment System. She has enjoyed stomping on Goombas and running wildly across levels in the past as you can see from this video:

Now, five years later after that video was taken, she agreed to let me film her first reactions to the Nintendo 3DS. The video is approximately eight minutes long, but is worth it completely.
