The website, which hosts videos of games being played at world-record speeds, is taking many of its best runners and holding a three-day marathon to raise money for Doctors Without Borders, in order to aid the victims of the Japanese tsunami and earthquake. The marathon begins Thursday, April 7 at 4 p.m. EDT, and is expected to end at around 11 p.m. EDT the following Sunday. A full schedule of games to be played can be seen here, and the marathon itself will be viewable on the SDA main page.
If you’ve never checked out Speed Demos Archive, this is worth watching. These people can break games in insane ways you didn’t think were possible. The expected time to complete Ocarina of Time is a little over three hours.
