All the aspiring tattoo artists out there now have a game to call their own. As an artist at a prestigious tattoo parlor, you’ll not only have to ink with precision, but you’ll have to get to know your regular clients and know which designs fit them best. You’ll also have to prove your skills against other challenging tattoo artists in your quest to open up your own shop.
DSiWare: Slingo Quest, 800 Nintendo Points
Play a combination of slots and bingo in this puzzler; pull the lever to bring up your numbers, then match them up to the ones on your bingo card. Try for as many bingos as you can, given twenty turns and a number of helpful power-ups. You’ve got 50 levels and several different modes, including Multi-Card Slingo and Seven by Seven Slingo.
DSiWare: Escape Trick: The Secret of Rock City Prison, 500 Nintendo Points
You are Roy, a falsely accused man serving a ten-year sentence at Rock City Federal Prison. In this game, you’ll have to search for items on the screen that will help you continue your escape so you can prove your innocence. Make notes with your stylus, uncover clues and solve the mystery of the prison.
WiiWare: Play with Birds, 500 Nintendo Points
You’re a small bird in a big city, flying around and trying to find a mate and start a family. As you fly through the city streets you’ll have several different mini-games to play, such as Bird Race, Birdman or Catch Thief.
Escape Trick looks like it could be pretty fun; I’ve always been a fan of quirky adventure games with deep storylines, as my Ace Attorney reviews may have indicated. The Virtual Console is still absent, though, which is frustrating.
