Nintendo Drops Prices Of Two First-Party Games

Nintendo announced this week that two of their popular first-party titles, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Party, will be dropping in price soon, a rarity for popular Wii titles. On Monday, April 25, both games will be available at a MSRP of $39.99. This cheaper Wii Sports Resort will likely have only one MotionPlus bundled in, though Nintendo’s press release did not specify.

This practically never happens, and it’s a bit annoying that it doesn’t. Mario Kart Wii is three years old now, and it still costs the full price of $50. If this was another console we were talking about, these would probably already be $20 by now.
