DSiWare: GO Series Tower of Deus, 200 Nintendo Points
You’ve been cursed with a deadly curse, and the only way to relieve it is to reach the top of this tower before your time runs out. You’ll run, jump and fly your way up the tower as you avoid numerous ghouls and demons. This retro-inspired platformer boasts 40 levels with 10 graphical styles.
DSiWare: Whack-A-Friend, 200 Nintendo Points
It’s Whack-A-Mole with a twist. Use the Nintendo DSi Camera to take pictures of friends or other things, then use the stylus to whack them as they pop up out of the ground. The higher your combo goes, the more damage you can see on their faces.
WiiWare: MDK2, 1,000 Nintendo Points
An alien menace is threatening Earth, and the only one who can save it is Kurt Hectic, with the help of Dr. Hawkins and a six-legged robot dog. You’ll play as all three characters, each one sporting a different style of gameplay; you can snipe, solve puzzles, or just blast enemies. Use the Sniper Shield, the Black Hole Grenade and more as you make your way through the game’s ten large worlds.
MDK2 looks like a pretty interesting and substantial game; I wish demos were more prolific so I could try it out first.
