This week’s free WiiWare demo is for BIT.TRIP FLUX.
Game Boy: Donkey Kong, $3.99
Donkey Kong has kidnapped Pauline again, and Mario must go after her in a much longer adventure. Climb through 100 levels and ten stages in this version of the classic game.
DSiWare: Zimo: Mahjong Fantastic, $1.99/200 Nintendo Points
Agetec, Inc. is tired of the basic “match two” Mahjong games that populate the Internet, and offer up their alternative: Zimo: Mahjong Fantastic. This game boasts “real mahjong rules” with an innovative twist, challenging your timing and skill.
DSiWare: Hidden Photo, $4.99/500 Nintendo Points
This title offers up traditional hidden picture gameplay, challenging you to either find the differences between two pictures, or locate objects hidden in a picture. As an added bonus, however, Hidden Photo lets you take pictures of yourself, your friends and your environment, and will turn them into puzzles for you.
DSiWare: Beach Party Craze, $7.99/800 Nintendo Points
You’re managing a beach party in this title, and that means you’ve got a lot of responsibilities. You’ll serve drinks, offer spots on the beach, build rides, sell souvenirs, and more in order to make money and buy upgrades. Work hard to get a job working with the owner of the resort!
DSiWare: Gold Fever, $4.99/500 Nintendo Points
You’re mining your way to Gold Country, California, and you’ll do so by matching three in this puzzle title. You’ll play through 160 puzzles, collecting coins and powerups.
WiiWare: Snail Mail, 600 Nintendo Points
Play as a surprisingly fast snail in this racing title. Race to deliver Intergalactic Mail in the 50 high-speed races of Postal mode. You can also try for speed in the Time Trials, or race forever in the infinite levels of Challenge mode. Up to four people can play.
NES: Mega Man 5, 500 Nintendo Points
Protoman has destroyed half the city, and now he’s threatening the world with eight new Robot Masters. Take on foes like Gravity Man, Stone Man and Wave Man in the fifth entry in the original hit series.
I suppose we’re not going to get new 3DSWare titles or whichever every week, which is understandable when you could get both the 3DS and DSi markets at the same time. New Game Boy titles are good, though.
