Earlier today, on their Twitter account, Nintendo of America announced the remaining NES games that 3DS Ambassadors will receive this Thursday. Applicable 3DS owners will receive the following ten games for free:
- Balloon Fight
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Ice Climber
- The Legend of Zelda
- Metroid
- NES Open Tournament Golf
- Super Mario Bros.
- Wrecking Crew
- Yoshi
- Zelda II: the Adventure of Link

The list of NES games seems like it leans more heavily toward launch titles and older NES games in general. I’m surprised we got Zelda II and not Super Mario Bros. 3, on top of that.
That’s because they can easily sell Mario games as opposed to older Zelda ones.
