Nintendo Download: 9/8/11

This week, there is a free WiiWare demo of Liight available for download.

Game Boy: Golf, $2.99

This 1990 title offers 32 holes to play on, where the hazards change on each playthrough. You’ll have to choose a club, judge the wind strength and direction, and more in order to get a good score, which is tracked on a scorecard.

DSiWare: DotMan, $1.99/200 Nintendo Points

Race around the streets as fast as you can, collecting all the coins and using items to avoid the police. If you get caught three times, the game is over, so stay driving by utilizing quick lane changes, U-turns and more.

DSiWare: Puzzle Rocks, $4.99/500 Nintendo Points

This puzzle title uses both match-three style and shape-match puzzles at the same time; switch any time you like. You have six colors and six shapes to work with, as you complete 36 levels across four chapters.

WiiWare: Paint Splash, 500 Nintendo Points

This title turns your TV screen into a paint canvas. Up to four people can make a masterpiece at the same time, and the resulting picture can be saved to the Wii’s SD card slot.

DotMan strikes me as trying to oversell a game that’s less than substantial. If you look at the preview screen, there’s a scantily-dressed anime girl on it, who I don’t believe is actually in the game.
