Game Boy: Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge, $3.99
The Blue Bomber’s first foray onto the Game Boy is here. Go through four stages and battle eight evil robots, including the “Mega Man Killer” Enker on your quest to defeat Dr. Wily again.
DSiWare: Defense of the Middle Kingdom, $4.99/500 Nintendo Points
This tower defense takes a page out of Chinese history, as you defend one of the three kingdoms. Enemy soldiers will walk along a predetermined path, and you’ll have to place your own soldiers carefully in order to defend the doors of the kingdom.
DSiWare: Bridge, $4.00/500 Nintendo Points
The popular card game is now playable on DSi and 3DS. You can play against computers, varying in difficulty from Beginner to Pro, or you can play against up to three friends. This game supports DS Download Play, as well as text and voice chat.
WiiWare: MotoHeroz, 1,500 Nintendo Points
The creators of Trials HD have brought another racing title to the WiiWare service. This title comes with three game modes, 14 cars, and over a hundred tracks to play on, by yourself or with up to four players. There are also new competitions every day, with online leaderboards.
I’m always curious about the VC release schedules, how they decide to intersperse larger releases with small ones. I wonder how many blockbuster Game Boy games there were.
