Rock Band DLC Update: 9/20/11

This week, Harmonix is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s groundbreaking album Nevermind. Unfortunately, the entire Nevermind album is already available on Rock Band, so gamers will receive three tracks from the final album In Utero, as well as “You Know You’re Right” which was unreleased until 2002. All tracks cost 200 Nintendo Points and are downloaded in-game, though the entire pack can be bought for 700 Nintendo Points.

Nirvana – “All Apologies”
Nirvana – “Heart-Shaped Box”*
Nirvana – “Rape Me”
Nirvana – “You Know You’re Right”

*Pro guitar/bass upgrade available for an additional 100 Nintendo Points.

On top of the four new songs, Harmonix is providing ten existing Nirvana songs with pro guitar/bass upgrades, which can be bought for 100 Nintendo Points each.

Nirvana – “Breed”
Nirvana – “Come As You Are (Live)”
Nirvana – “Lithium (Live)”
Nirvana – “Lounge Act”
Nirvana – “On a Plain”
Nirvana – “Polly”
Nirvana – “Smells Like Teen Spirit”
Nirvana – “Something in the Way”
Nirvana – “Stay Away”
Nirvana – “Territorial Pissings”

I don’t have much Nirvana in my library, which might be something I need to rectify.
