Taking advantage of Youtube’s more advanced capabilities, Nintendo has posted a new trailer for Professor Layton and the Last Specter that will puzzle viewers, literally. The Youtube page has been scrambled up into several pieces and placed into a slide puzzle; as the video plays in pieces around the page, players will need to slide the parts of Youtube back where they belong in order to get an unscrambled version. Players who can solve the puzzle can not only see the trailer normally, but get an extra bonus trailer of the included game Professor Layton’s London Life. This is a really cool way of marketing this game, I think; it gives not only a preview of the game’s story, but lets people experience Layton-style puzzling at the same time. Well done, Nintendo.
