Nintendo has announced the winners of the US, Japan, and Europe Flipnote contests. Each site has fifteen entries on them and comments by either Shigeru Miyamoto, Eiji Aonuma, Takashi Tezuka, or Yoshiaki Koizumi. One of the winners on the European site “Jimmy” actually included an internet meme known as Trollface into their movie. Mr. Tezuka made this comment about that particular animation:
Your art style is so unique! Once someone sees this short, they might never forget it. I had to watch it over and over.
No word has been given on how long the entries will be able for viewing.
I’m highly amused by the fact the animation by Jimmy not only had Trollface, but an assortment of other rage comic figures.
