Earlier today, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime was on hand at the LA Auto Show to reveal two full sized vehicles from Mario Kart 7. The karts were made by West Coast Customs in the style of Mario’s Standard kart and Luigi’s Bumble V kart in the Nintendo 3DS game.
An episode of Inside West Coast Customs will show how they worked with Nintendo to create the karts.
Nintendo has also teamed up with GameStop to promote GameStop PowerUp Rewards to give away the karts in a giveaway. To enter, members of GameStop PowerUp Rewards must make a purchase during the month of December with the winner being announced in February. As of this post, GameStop did not have any official information about the contest on their PowerUp page.
