Rumors have been wandering the Internet, stating that Nintendo is planning to bring their 3DS Ocarina of Time 3D bundle stateside, and Nintendo officially confirmed those plans today, along with those of another 3DS bundle. The Zelda bundle can be seen above; it comes with a limited-edition Cosmo Black 3DS with a Hyrule symbol and other embellishments, as well as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. The other bundle combines a normal Flame Red 3DS with the recently-released Super Mario 3D Land. Both of these bundles will cost $199.99, and will be available for purchase on Thanksgiving Day, November 24.
Additionally, both The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and Super Mario 3D Land will be on display in select malls around the country from November 21 to December 18; click here for the full list of participating malls.
I think that anyone currently interested in Nintendo is going to be attracted to either Mario or Zelda, so delivering both options is a great strategy for Nintendo.
