Facebook’s StreetPass Seattle group is having a big StreetPass event on December 17th, 2011 from 1pm to 4pm at the Experience Music Project, otherwise known as the EMP or the colorful metallic building that is located right next to the Space Needle. The meeting place will be inside at the movie theater area. If that area is closed off to a live performance, it’ll be down the stairs from the gift shop. Both of those areas are free to get into. The group is giving away tons of prizes from Mario Kart 7, Cubic Ninja 3DS, Dual Pen Sports 3DS, 2 Pokemon Plush Dolls, 2 Toad Plush Dolls, a handful of Pokedex 3D AR Cards and even Nintendo character related Energy Drinks. To get any of these prizes from the event, you have to be present at the StreetPass Seattle event and enter the contests. Online submissions are not accepted.
- First Contest – Best 3D Photo taken with your 3DS without using AR Cards. Photos MUST be taken with your Nintendo 3DS ONLY and not using any of your AR Cards! Photos created and imported from outside of the 3DS will not count towards this contest.
- Second Contest – Best Mii Character that looks like a celebrity. Please bring a photo of the celebrity that you want to create into a mii. We will be creating the Mii Character on spot, so no cheating or downloading someone else’s already made Mii Character. There will be a time limit.
- Third Contest – Best 3D Video. You have to use Stop Motion. Be as creative as you want. Anything goes for this as long as it’s using stop motion on your 3DS.
- Fourth Contest – Best 3D AR Card Photo. Remember those AR Cards that you were given with the 3DS? Use any of the cards with your favorite character or even your own mii and take a photo using your Nintendo 3DS.
- Fifth Contest – Paper Rock Sissors! LOL! – Best of 5 wins!
