Nintendo 3DS Game Demos To Arrive Tomorrow

Nintendo announced earlier today that starting tomorrow, downloadable demos of 3DS titles will be available on the Nintendo eShop. The first demo up for download is one of Resident Evil: Revelations, which will be released on February 7 in North America. January 26 will see a demo of Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and future scheduled demos include Rayman Origins and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.

“The demo program allows Nintendo 3DS players to be among the first to test-drive select games,” said Tony Elison, Nintendo of America’s senior director and general manager of Network Business. “Players can try out new genres or series, often weeks before the full versions are available in stores.”

Good to see that Nintendo is expanding their use of demos; I just hope they’re not limited use like Revelations is in Japan.
