Nintendo of America today has announced they will publish Pokémon Conquest, a Nintendo DS game, which is being developed by TECMO KOEI GAMES Co., Ltd. The game is a mash-up of Nobunaga’s Ambition and Pokémon characters that was revealed in Japan months earlier. In the game, players will play as a young Warlord that must strengthen their kingdom by recruiting allies. Nearly two hundred Pokémon will be present including ones from recent games, Black and White as well as many characters from Nobunaga’s Ambition franchise. According to Nintendo, the game is turn-based and involves tactics and planning for victory.
A release date has been set for June 18th with no ESRB rating as of yet.
