GameStop announced today that, for the first time, their annual employee-only conference would be opened up to certain GameStop customers. The GameStop EXPO 2012 will be held in San Antonio, Texas on August 29, 2012, and all PowerUp Rewards members will have a chance to purchase tickets to the show. The conference will allow players to get their hands on upcoming games, as well as enter contests to win prizes. General admission is $35, while a special VIP ticket costs $100; only PowerUp Rewards members can buy tickets, but GameStop customers can enroll in the PowerUp program for free. More information can be found here.
This sounds a little like a smaller, more private E3, which is an interesting idea.

Lol, I bet it will be all about, how to rip off the customer with used games.
