Natsume Announces New Harvest Moon For 3DS

As part of the 15th anniversary of the Harvest Moon series, Natsume Inc. announced the existence of a new Harvest Moon game for Nintendo 3DS, entitled Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. In this game, the player must restore the depopulated Echo Village by growing his farm and creating new interest in the town. The game has a heavy focus on customization, allowing the player to customize their character, the arrangement of the farm, and the features of Echo Village itself.

“We’re extremely excited to be bringing Harvest Moon: A New Beginning to the North American audience,” said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. “It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years since the first Harvest Moon game debuted on the SNES back in 1997! A New Beginning has many new customization features that will please both veterans of the series and new players alike!”

Harvest Moon: A New Beginning will be available by the end of the year.

I’ve never really played a Harvest Moon game, but they seem to be popular enough. Maybe I should give one a try.
