Wii U Battery Life Revealed

Nintendo’s Japanese website has updated with technical information about the Wii U, which can be seen here. One notable piece of information is the battery life of the controller, which will last from three to five hours, depending on brightness and other settings. The controller takes about 2.5 hours to charge, though it can be played while charging.

That’s quite a lot lower than my initial estimate of 12 hours. That’s rather disappointing.
